Exhibition of Studio Projects

Tiling Karlovy is a sanctuary and cultural center for the LGBT community, nestled in the historic and picturesque town of Karlovy Vary. Drawing inspiration from the traditional bathhouses and the rich cultural heritage of the area, this refuge aims to create a harmonious blend of historical references and contemporary needs. The core of the project revolves around the concept of rasterizing the plot, essentially dividing it into a grid of pixels. Each pixel represents a unique color from the original Pride flag, symbolizing diversity and unity within the LGBT community. These vibrant pixels are not just decorative; they are integral to the design, each assigned a specific function within the center.
