SPORTS HALL TROJA

The aim of the design was to harmonize the requirements for new sports facilities with the longstanding tradition of the Prague Sokol movement. The sports hall aims to enrich the community of the Troja district with a multifunctional space that, in addition to sports activities, is also intended for cultural events. The design effectively responds to the terrain and features entrances at two different elevations. Alongside the playing area, the building includes a gym, sauna, and climbing wall. The combination of gray brick contrasts with airy milky polycarbonate, and the structure composed of laminated wooden beams serves as the main aesthetic feature in the interior. The material choice not only complements the surrounding environment but also integrates harmoniously with the greenery.
