Railway museum

The design takes into account the historical significance of the Fanta building and engages in a dialogue with Bondi's lightweight cast iron structure. To this architectural composition, we add two new arches with heavy concrete structure to create a space above the platforms that serves as a railway museum. The museum will offer visitors a unique insight into the history and development of rail transport in the Czech Republic. On the opposite slope, we return to the metal structure that serves as the locomotive depository display case. This space will be used for the presentation and preservation of historic locomotives. Our project not only respects and enhances the architectural heritage of the station, but also increases the attractiveness of the whole area for visitors.
