Three Fidorkas for Bezruč - Circle of Light

The design-build project, which is part of the celebrations for the 800th anniversary of Opava, aims to bring life back to the neglected square on the edge of the city center. The installation is located directly in the center of Bezruč Square, at the intersection of the road and the pedestrian path leading to the center. With its circular shape, it emphasizes and defines the place for both staying and activity—by day with its structure and by night with light. It is meant to serve as the first sign of the changes that must necessarily occur for the square to serve people as a fully functional public space.
