The character of a place or genius loci is something that makes a place special. It is a very beautiful thing that needs to be preserved and supported. Finding it is never easy, and sometimes it takes years to form on its own, and if we take care of it properly, it will never disappear. It helps us understand why this place is the way it is, and every time we visit it, we have some feeling about it.
