Palletion - Serpentine pavilion

Bc. Michal Turek

Annotation

When one hears the term pavilion, one imagines a building, most likely a new, modern one, following current material trends. However, why not try to use available and reusable material? Palletion is a pavilion, as the name suggests, made of pallets. It creates a simple building, almost church-shaped, where the visitor hesitates what the building is actually made of, and only on closer inspection does he find out that they are simple pallets. The space offers simple permeability, a place to relax, sit with friends, or organize social events. In contrast to the simplicity of the pavilion, we can find some of the most famous pieces of the world's architects and designers.
