Waste through Fun

The aim of this project is to combine education in recycling and sustainability with fun, as a way to introduce more people to the issue. The fun and educational park surrounds a recycling yard from three sides and is connected to it by windows through which the visitors can observe the processes inside. It also uses the produced materials. The attractions take place in spaces that mimic the recycling yard and are made, for example, from blocks of compressed paper. Guests can design and print props on a 3D printer from the plastic recycled here. The amusement park consists of 17 independent boxes of different sizes made of CLT panels, which can be rebuilt for another purpose or removed. The building is designed to be able to grow both on the ground and into additional floors in the future
