Annotation

Unhošť is a historic town in the agricultural landscape between Prague and Kladno. Its attractivness lies in its connection to the recreational area of the Křivoklátsko protected landscape area and the valley of the Black brook with the Kačák pond. People commute to Unhošť from smaller settlements in the south. Unhošť has retained its character as a reasonably populous compact small town with a charming historical centre. Living conditions are very favourable, but the current railway station is 2 km away from the town beyond an impassable barrier (D6 motorway). A large impulse for the future of Unhošť is a potential new stop on a railway line closer to its centre. Our study focuses on the link to the new railway station an its surroundings.
