TACTILE BUILDING SET FOR CHILDREN

Hana Kučerová

Annotation

The tactile building set is designed to promote interaction between blind and able-bodied children. Healthy children use the folding set to learn to recognise geometric shapes, while blind children can recognise elements using tactile structures. The material used to make this tactile bulding set comes from crushed winning tickets from SAZKA. In addition, organic earth pigments, which occur freely in nature in the form of minerals, were used in the production process, and cornstarch was chosen as a binder. This material ensures the health safety and biodegradability of the product. The product has practical applications in education and therapy, with an emphasis on promoting interaction between children with different abilities.
