SWIM!

We're going to the Kampa. SWIM! I design a natural outdoor swimming pool in the area, following the tradition of the lidos, which used to be an integral part of the sporting activities in Prague. With the programme and location I am trying to create a place that will connect the sports bank of the Čertovka River with the recreational part of Kampa. The entire volume is placed along the Čertovka River to provide visitors with access directly to the canal. At the same time, it is separated from the courtyard of the site by a longitudinal façade. In front of the entrance, a new space is thus created - the bosquet - which serves as a extension of the park on Kampa and as a forecourt of Michna's palace.
