NEW HOŘÍN

Annotation

The main goal was to streamline the waste sorting process, create an experimental house focused on innovative building materials, and provide a community and educational space for residents and new inhabitants. An operation was designed to enhance sorting efficiency, mirroring the phases of waste sorting. The route connects three original buildings where sorting occurs, ensuring smoothness and efficiency. A small research center for innovative materials was created on the unused area of the sorting facility, also serving as a community center. A building supply store, an administrative building, and a two-story residential building were added. The façades were kept simple as promotional and testing surfaces for the materials.
