Annotation

The area west of Prague, starting with Václav Havel Airport and extending through Kladno further west, encompasses a wide range of both cultural and natural heritage with a rich history. Previously fragmented fields with groves have been consolidated into vast agricultural areas, which, along with logistics centers, highways, roads, and the enclosed airport area, create problematic barriers to the permeability of the region. Currently, this otherwise valuable area is perceived primarily as a utilitarian transport zone. This presents an opportunity for the conceptualization of the area not only from a historical perspective but also with a view toward the coming decades, providing an impetus for careful planning and management of all mentioned aspects and their mutual symbiosis.
