HEJBÅJ - MODULAR SHELVING UNIT
Annotation
The modular shelving unit Hejbåj is based on the popular Kallax series of square bookshelves. Its design aims to bring greater versatility to IKEA's shelving systems. Inspired by exhibition systems, the subtle construction complemented by steel cables gives an impression of lightness, almost levitation, and allows all elements placed in it to stand out. The unit includes a series of shelves and components made from recycled stretch foil, which in the form of panels create a light, strong, and partially transparent material that enhances the light feel of the shelving system.
