TOVÁRNÍ STREET - ÚSTÍ NAD LABEM

The urban study of Tovární Street, which is located at the interface between the south-western edge of the city centre and the adjacent industrial area, revises and completes the currently generally bleak environment unfriendly for urban life or living. The project addresses the integration of the site with the chemical factory, warehouses and railway station into the concept of an expanded city centre, adding residential and civic amenities. This is further supported by the widening of Factory Street along the entire length of the site, including available infrastructure, transport services and the addition of green spaces. Due to the length of the area, where different urban units alternate, the whole project is divided into several parts, the most important sections are described below.
