3 HOUSES AND THE GAP

The project addresses infilling the gap between the old and new parts of the city center in Prague on Na Perštýně Street, aiming to connect these two city sections. The design includes three buildings: two main structures facing the street, with the smaller one connecting to the old town and the larger one responding to the new city, maintaining a gap between them to highlight the transition. The third building, situated in the inner courtyard, is linked to the second one by a wooden walkway, a traditional element of Prague's architecture. All three buildings share a common courtyard, and the design maximizes the challenging plot shape while naturally complementing the surrounding architecture.
