Pilsen - South Suburbs

The studio's brief was the conversion of a continuous strip of land in the centre of Pilsen, including the whole area of the University Hospital and the adjacent neglected and abandoned area with the character of a brownfield. An important part of the studio work was the collaboration with other students who bring the area back to life with their designs. Therefore, after the removal of most of the already highly inadequate hospital buildings, a multifunctional solitary development is created in the area, but at the same time the phenomenon of health care is retained, so at least part of the spirit of the place is preserved.
