MACHINE

Humpolec is famous for its rich tradition of cloth weaving. Since the 18th century, local craftsmen have been producing fabrics on manual and mechanical looms. Textile production has become a key industry that has shaped the lives of residents and brought prosperity to the city. The concept is based on a MACHINE, which is located in the community hall. This machine forms a supporting steel truss structure with a built-in crane track and a mobile trolley. The crane track allows movement in both horizontal and vertical directions, thus providing flexibility for two banks and a box. These elements give the hall space the possibility of variable arrangement for various musical, theatrical or sporting events.
