Vilémov Monastery

The project deals with the possible construction of a new religious monastery in Vilémov near Golčov Jeníkov with accommodation for pilgrims. The area under consideration has long been neglected and conceptually separated from the rest of the village, so the proposal does not only deal with the monastery buildings themselves, but also works favorably and sensitively with the surrounding landscape and urbanism. As part of the project, there was a more detailed focus on the beer self-service building with rooms in the attic for pilgrims or potential participants of organized events. It is a new building with proportions and appearance referring to the original farm building, which today stands in the western part of the historic courtyard.
