Annotation

Housing. Olšanská. Balconies. Courts. Ochre color. A church behind one wall, a cemetery behind the other, and Parukářka on the horizon. We are on the border between the new and the old Žižkov, in a street that will become a city boulevard in the future. I propose a dignified apartment complex here, holding the street line firmly on the side of Olšanská and climbing up the towers. At the cemetery, I stay lower and learn the rhythm of the cemetery wall. I face the church. I am inspired by Žižkov, its smooth plasterwork, pavilions, balconies and the freight station. The flats are transverse, ranging from 1 bedroom to 4 bedrooms, and each has its own outside. The pavilions are for living, the yards are for kicking a ball, barbecuing, growing and everything in between.
