Modular housing for single parents

The proposed apartment building is located in the Pragovka area in Prague Vysočany, a historic industrial district. The project responds to the need for affordable housing for single parents while emphasizing the principles of community, sustainability and flexibility. The architectural design is based on prefabricated modular units that allow for reuse or recycling. The building offers apartments with 1, 2 and 3-bedroom layouts, combined with common areas such as laundry facilities and shared facilities for community activities. The ground floor is oriented to support the wider community - it contains commercial space and services accessible not only to the residents of the building. The design seeks to create a safe, welcoming environment where parents can find support.
