Křivoklát : revitalization of the first castle courtyard

The scope of the study is the revitalization of the first castle courtyard,access to the Wenceslas Purcracy,house No.136,the southern and western park and the Golden Bastion.A sensitive approach in the restoration of these areas is crucial for the preservation of the identity and authenticity of one of the most important Czech castles.This idea was linked to the restoration of use of materials and the addition of functions to individual buildings.The sensitive approach and the choice of materials were the starting point for the design of geometric structure of paving of the courtyard.The design shows possible access and a creation of new viewing circuits inside and outside the buildings.All spaces respond to the needs of the castle's management,visitor load and the authenticity of the site
