HOUSE IN A GAP PER

Veronika Sirůčková

Annotation

The apartment building filling a structurally difficult gap in Na Perštýně street connects two offset gables with its receding terraces and arrow-shaped floor plan. It stands in an attractive location between the Old and New Towns of Prague. It borrows its red hues from its surroundings, reacts to history and looks to the future. On the ground floor of the building there is a modest cafe for both locals and tourists, and on the following floors, 10 households will find a comfortable home. The apartments are designed with care, no space is wasted, but you will not feel cramped here. The courtyard is a welcome element for residents and visitors of the cafe and brings a bit of peace even in the very heart of Prague.
