The department store took a lot from Smíchov, but at the same time it gave a lot as well. I don't want to tear it down. It's a building with a big role and I've decided to add one more. The department store stands enclosed in itself at the intersection of the green Sacré Coeur Park, the waterfront and the centre of Smíchov. I therefore see the department store as an opportunity and I am connecting these paths to it. Including its roof, to which I give the main role. I am creating a new layer of the city on it. A place for everyone, high above the city. One can live, play, exercise, create, walk, study, drink beer, work, relax, whatever one wants. Or just lose oneself to the sound of the green crowns on the paths that are axes of entertainment changing with every step.
