MOTOROVKA - Žižkov

The building combines the functions of an art library, workshop, exhibition space and lecture hall (inspired by Stiftung Sitterwerk) with parking. The parking spaces are integrated into the building and are solved by a gradually rising one-way circuit with sloping spaces. This solution dictates the form of the building. Its heart is made up of reinforced concrete shells of the existing hall, above which the steel structure of a studio is built. The triangular windows of the top floor are surrounded by vegetation, which is also the "fifth facade" and creates the illusion of a green courtyard when viewed from the surrounding houses.
