Exhibition of Studio Projects

Annotation

For my semester project, I designed an X-ray table for pediatric clinics. The goal was to combine functionality for medical staff with the needs of children aged 0 months to 18 years. Since children often feel scared during examinations, I created a playful and welcoming design inspired by colorful building blocks. The table includes folding side rails for safety and a head support eliminating the empty space behind the head, reducing children’s fears. A wider detector movement area minimizes the need to adjust the table, making staff work easier and enhancing children’s comfort. This design improves the examination experience and brings more humanity to hospitals.
