My priority when designing the bus stop was its functionality. The main aspect was the weather, which is unpredictable in this mountainous area. Therefore, the bus stop’s structure is designed to provide sufficient protection against the wind.
Another important aspect was the location. Since this is a smaller town, I wanted to design the stop as a place where people could meet while waiting for the bus. Given that the locals know each other, the placement of the seating reflects this by being oriented face-to-face. For the seating, I drew inspiration from gondola lifts. This arrangement aims to facilitate communication among those waiting.
