Fun Palace II: Concrete cell

Landscape damaged by a brown coal mining from surface quarries in contrast with green hills in beautiful nature full of life – the city of Most. Concrete cell of the ecoresort laying on the recultivated hill made of the quarry extracted in quarries symbolizes this contrast. In a massive concrete construction created by humans there grows a tree as a symbol of life. A deep underground ladder will take us under the ground to see the strenght of a human actions as they are able to turn the layers of earth upside down. The magnificent view to the nature amazes us, but the paradox is that behind the green trees there lies just a man-devastated landscape - brown coal Quarry of Vršany.
