RESEARCH HOUSE KPA: THE UNUSUAL STONE
Annotation
I had a clear idea that nature was the right thing. The particular form should have been a kind of grassy glade, surrounded by rocks, moss and sparse forests - an environment that naturally gives the impression of peace and privacy, which I would like to mediate for us in our research house. The KPA research house is the central space for our atelier. However, a place created primarily for a consideration and our creativity is also a peaceful place that provides a relief from a bustling city. The main inspiration for me was the stone itself. But not an ordinary stone, as rather the form and process of growth of semi-precious stones, which inspired me to create very different, but still compact spaces of the research house.
