BOREK EYE

Annotation

The subject was to design a beeyard on a slope. The place I chose is located near Šumava mountains, on a hill named Borek. The location has a big influence on a concept of a building. The building´s shape comes from a behavior of a contour lines – curve, view, slope. Long window in the front makes the view the main thing in the interior, so the beekeeper has an awesome view on the Šumava mountains, and has control of everything what´s going on with beehives, which are located on the contour lines bellow the building. The object is dominant. It´s eye, which controls, takes care and protects.
