Spa at the interface

While designing the spa, I was inspired by woodcuts Rapids by Hiroshi Yoshida and White and pink chrysanthemums over running water on a black background by Ohara Koson, which depict the aquatic environment. The spa has a peaceful character, the dominant elements are the sound and the flow of running water. It is the natural flow of water alongside the edges of the house that leads the visitor through the space from darkness to light – the passage from the dim interior of the spa, lit by skylights, to a large atrium open to the sun, where the visitors can quietly rest and relax in the light, listening to the sound of flowing stream. The elements of the house are organized according to the rules of the golden ratio for the harmonious distribution of user spaces.
