STROMOVKA GALERY

I conceived the gallery in Stromovka, Prague, as creating a concrete fortress, storing very valuable things. Physical paintings and sculptures, but above all a feeling of being cut off from the world around them. The only vertical opening is the entrance to the gallery. Everything else is taken care of by skylights, at the top of each truncated pyramid, which let daylight into the object and allow only a view of things beyond our comprehension, the sky and the universe.
