Ornament

The concept of the beehive, called Ornament, designed for building from prof. Ing. Mgr. Akad. arch. Petr Hájek – DOX+, applies musical principles in architecture and uses geometry of hexagon, a form from the world of bees. Thanks to the rhythm of the composition was made an atypical form, reminding of gem. The beehive is covered with ornamental geometrical pattern, which creates contrast to gray upholstered façade of the multifunctional centre DOX+. The main idea of the proposal is to create a layout of little groups of beehives in the area so they would lead a visitor at his journey.
