KPA Research House:POINT, LINE, SURFACE

The KPA RESEARCH PLACE is a place for 20 people who deal with architecture. The research spot has quiet (underground), social(on ground) and philosophical(above ground) spaces. Architects work in 3D and 2D. Point, line and surface are the most important basic 2D tools. In 3D, these are point-spheres, matter, and surface. Social space symbolizes surface / matter, philosophical is line / surface, rest is point / sphere. The land is on a meadow in the Kunratice Forest, in Prague, because the Research Place is designed for everyday work. Kunratice Forest is a compromise between everyday accessibility and natural tranquility.
