Mortar and Pestle/Paper Lampshade

Not every chef uses a mortar. And why would they, when a food processor can do all the work for them in just a few seconds? However, this way of preparing food will deprive it of a large part of the aromas that are hidden in herbs, spices will never be crushed to exactly the right roughness and pesto will never be creamy soft. That is why I decided to create a mortar for those passionate chefs, who prefer perfection over convenience and will find a permanent place for it in their kitchen. I also created a paper lampshade, which induces a pleasant intimate atmosphere and is suitable for living rooms, cafes and bars. I played with the principle of guiding light through tubes and projecting it on the ceiling and surrounding walls.
