Trilobit - house for a train nerd
Annotation
A home for a family of four in the abandoned landscape of Dalejské valley. The design traces the connection of passion for trains and their themes with inspiration in the ancient inhabitants - trilobites. Sandstone rocks give the place a touch of the Red Planet - inspiration in cosmic shapes. The trilobite is placed on a rock above the track - allowing a view of the train from almost any room. However, the best view of the train is from the roof. Together with the remoteness, it allows us to connect to the exterior via large-format window. Trilobite inspiration is not only reflected in the exterior, but is also evident in the layout of the interior.
