MORTAR AND PAPER LAMPSHADE

Our main project for this semester was a mortar. My goal was to create an interesting home accessory and at the same time a compact kitchen utensil. The grooves on the surface serve for a pleasant grip of the hands and the double material gives the user greater possibilities of use. The second task was a paper shade. I proceeded by coating the wire structure with translucent paper. To make the work different, I added a photoluminescent pigment. The shade shines even overnight, and if the user needs to go somewhere, the shade (s) determine the points that are otherwise shrouded in darkness.
