BEYOND THE BORDERS

Annotation

The grassy hilly landscape of the Beskydy Mountains evokes in me feelings of FREEDOM, PEACE AND JOY. I tried to transfer these feelings to a place where geometry takes the main role. By modelling the terrain in the form of larger or smaller hills, I wanted to achieve subtle and smooth transitions. The terrain rises and falls, changing its dimensions just like a mountain landscape. There are no barriers or boundaries to prevent free movement. The open space surrounded by dense forest is reminiscent of the mountain pastures of the Beskydy Mountains. A concrete strip around the reservoir is the only remnant of the former reservoir. People can relax in the place, come to other thoughts and calm their minds. They can frolic on the hills, hide among the folds or roll around on the slopes.
