House on the house

House on house as an oasis for students. Whether three friends or three unknown young people, the design of a two-story house for student life combines privacy with socialization, relaxation with fun, functionality with challenge. The aim of my design was to build on an existing two-storey building located in the courtyard, Kubelíkova 15, in a specific Žižkov. Superstructures and interventions in the inner blocks are a certain controversy in Žižkov and therefore I decided not to exceed the existing shape of the house, to keep its shape, but at the same time to make it special so that the students live in a unique space. The main expressive element is the inserted exterior two-storey pavilion overgrown with greenery.
