House on the house

The realization of the "Dům na domě" extension is located inside a courtyard in the middle of the Prague city district, Žižkov. The main purpose of the house is to take care of kids, whose parents are commuting on a weekly basis. Floor plan of the project is a triangle with a glass vertex that is responsible for bringing the largest amount of daylight into the house. The facade is decorated with rectangular windows aligned in red, white and black. The house consists of three floors that are connected by an outer staircase and then followed by an inner spindle staircase.
