HOUSE FOR MY LIBRARY

The onlz place I have ever felt comfortable to read was in Finland. Finland's forests have calm and groundind atmosphere which is exactly what makes the reading experience perfect for me. These emotions is what I tried to convey through this project and what I wanted for the visitors of my building to feel like. The maint part of the building is a big room with a large window which offers an undisturbed view of the breathtaking Finnish forest. Even though they are surronded by solid construction, which shields the reader from harsh Finnish weather, the reader feels almost like a part of the nature.
