JOURNEY THROUGHOUT THE OPAVIAN CENTURY

The whole object itself is a three-storey building with dimensions of thirty-five to thirty-five meters, which is located in the inner courtyard behind the warehouse "Slezanka". Structurally, it is a monolithic reinforced concrete skeleton. The reinforced concrete columns are intentionally pulled over the whole mass of the maze - thus creating the impression of "hanging" the mass of the building, rather than "supporting" this mass. The maze in the building itself is solved as a reference to the past of the inner courtyard - it specifically responds to the loss of more than 1/3 of the buildings after the end of World War II. These "lost objects" are depicted using suspended partitions, which are arranged exactly in the shape of the perimeter walls of the original objects.
