GALLERY CADFRI

The gallery is intended for paintings by Caspar David Friedrich and its own material and spatial concept is inspired by these works. Caspar David Friedrich's paintings depict breathtaking vast landscapes, picturesque valleys and romantic ruins that will engulf the viewer, captivate and create a feeling of a nice grip, almost realizing how small we are compared to the whole world. The gallery, seen from the outside, attracts with its power and nooks and crannies, which play with light, creating the same feeling in the audience as Friedrich's paintings. The main view from the gallery forces the visitor to ascend to the top floor and after seeing the paintings, the viewer sees another "painting", a large massive window creating a unique view of the vast landscape.
