GALLERY STROMOVKA

A concept of the project is based on relation between outside environment of parc Stromovka and gallery concetrated on open-air paintings. A visitor can compare the art with vegetation outside of the gallery. The space is reaction on the shore of lake and it is created by two blocks which are intersecting each other. Modest shape doesn't disturb calm atmosphere of the parc plus it's even inviting people to come and take a look at it from inside. Closed part is also in underground where I put skylight on the sides. Underground is determined for sculptures and reliefs exhibition where the light point out their plasticity. Open glazed space allows You to connect experience from art exhibition with view on willows downward to water level of lake.
