WIMhof

wimHOF is a project of a training centre for people are practising the Wim Hof method. It is done mainly by exposition to cold environment, then working with breathing and discipline. With the project we tried to respond to the suggestions of the local Czech trainer of this method. The building is a place where people go "off" from normal working life and get closer to nature. I portrayed the centre as a grown, organic structure even though it is geometric. The central space is a large exercise room where visitors can train both the body and work with mind and perception. Another important area is, for example, a training freezer - which simulates extreme freezing conditions - such as somewhere high in the mountains. Of course, a few meter away is a river that can be jumped into.
