CONTRAST

The landscape of my heart from which inspired my design of the water tank in Kutná Hora was a journey of negative and positive. I then tried to express these emotions through simple objects in the design itself. The visitor walks down a large staircase that symbolizes rhythm, certainty and safety. The closer he gets to his imaginary destination, the more the rusted walls fall down on him, giving the impression of a maze with a clear vision of the exit. The nothingness and confusion is felt more and more in the inside, and the weight of the walls, which standing in all sides, spreads in all directions. It absorbs everything and everyone. At the end there are gentle and simple stairs. With a vision of a dream destination, he climbs higher. The edge of the water tank reveals a landscape.
