House for Rony Plesl

The house with a studio is intended for the Czech designer, sculptor and professor Rony Plesl. In his work, he explores the possibilities of glass sculpture. He respects the history of the craft and in his free work combines the old Czech glazing craft with a new, playful and original design. In his works, we encounter uranium, fused glass and a choice of colors that change glass into other forms at first glance. Just as Rony Plesl works with Czech glass, so in the house we work with Czech glass, more precisely with kopilite. The sun's rays scatter through the frosted glass and create a pleasant light in the interior, which penetrates into all corners and at the same time the opacity of the glass forces a person to walk and discover vistas that let in bright light into the house.
