Residence for artists | Baba

I was inspired by the villa KWANTES from the Dutch studio MVRDV. This villa seems closed to the outside world, whose beauty only opens up to indoor private garden. I followed a similar principle at my villa. A bare wall lining the longer side of the plot, which evokes a passer-by feeling closed. It is from the garden that a glass gallery for visitors opens up and welcomes them inside. The villa has a very special shape, I would compare it to a rhombus. No load-bearing walls have a right angle to each other. The floor plan is similar to the letter U, which pulls you in, you walk down a straight corridor that accompanies you to a gradually evolving room. The lower floor is divided into public and private part. The public part is the gallery. In the private part we will find 2 studios.
