The family house with a studio

The family house with a studio is located in the residential area of Petřiny near Libocký pond. Although this part of Prague looks remote, it is not too far from the center, which allows you to easily combine the brisk everyday city life with peacefully spent time with family. The shape of my concept is based on this idea. From the sides, the house evokes briskness, speed, while from the ground plan point of view it forms a stoic closed area. The orientation of the house allows a view through generous windows to diverse greenery and the adjacent railway line. An important aspect for me was the separation of the residential part of the house from the studio in order to maintain the privacy, which is necessary.
