House for architect

Marek Štěpánek

Annotation

The main idea was to design the house so that it interferes with the terrain as little as possible and that it respects the greenery that is located on the plot as much as possible. This is perfectly ensured by the steel frames in which the house is inserted. The entrance to the house is possible by a natural staircase. The house is divided into two parts - working and private. Both parts are connected by a hall, thanks to which complete privacy is ensured. In the left, one-storey part of the house there is an architectural studio, which is perfectly sunny thanks to large glass areas and thus creates ideal conditions for the work of an architect. In the right, two-storey part of the house there is a living space, which is divided into a day and rest zone by a spiral staircase.
