Retirement home in Emmaus Abbey

The building is located in the eastern part of Emmaus Abbey. With its mass, it follows the current development and gently ends it. The building tries not to disturbe views on the monastery and the gardens and tries to step out of the way with its curvature. The dynamics of the curve is also written into the design of the facade. On the ground floor of the building there is a separate café for public - the café connects the gardens with the street. There is also a pharmacy and a general doctors office. The entrance to the apartment building for the elderly is via the reception. On the ground floor there is a spacious common room with multifunctional use. The 2nd-4th floors offer housing units for independent seniors. On the 5th floor there are rooms for seniors with the need for care.
